An online search reveals links to a countless number of others named Scott Gordon, and I have added this sentence so that perhaps someday my name will be among them or perhaps between them, depending upon the vagaries of search-engine heuristics. This Scott Gordon (that would be me providing yet another citation) is a computer programmer/developer, living in the Chicago vicinity, who if you rely on search engines to locate would appear to have dropped off the face of the earth and is now relegated to writing in the third person to remedy this situation.

He formerly used this space to describe his work experience -- which includes Web and database application development -- as a small gesture of self-promotion, but has decided to use it instead to promote his name (Scott Gordon) so that old friends and creditors alike may someday be able to locate him online.
